Sipful Founders Darius and Emily, can often be found out in the hills of the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales, camping, wild swimming and hitting up as many festivals as they can squeeze into their busy working lives.
Darius, a passionate and highly skilled Brewer, would usually pack a bag of delicious craft beers for their next adventure. Now, we all love a decent Beer as much as the next, but when Em repeatedly experienced the dreaded beer bloat (we’ve all been there!), they were on the hunt for an easy to drink, canned alternative.
It soon became clear that to find a canned alcoholic drink alternative, that wasn’t synthetic tasting and overly sweet, was near impossible! That combined with their joint commitment to buying as little glass and plastic as possible, meant the options were thin on the ground.
And so the research began, asking Friends, Girlfriends, Fathers, Mothers, Brothers, Sisters – who has this problem too? The answer was a resounding, MANY! You don’t want a whole bottle, you want to drink (responsibly) on the go and you want to keep those beaut high waisted jeans done up… Amen sister.
Through this collective frustration, Sipful Drinks was born. Em and Darius quit their jobs and committed their time to filling the gap for premium Cocktails in a Can, using only 100% natural fruit and flavours.
CLASSIC MIMOSA
Inspired by Ems time in California where she lived and worked for a number of years. It was already a household fav and one rarely found in a can, so this was a no brainer. 100% Real Orange juice mixed with our crisp bubbly white wine for simply Sunshine, in a can!
BLOOD ORANGE MIMOSA
Darius’s brewing brain and natural creativity with flavour paved the way for our Blood Orange Mimosa. Its natural sharpness is expertly mixed with our signature Spanish bubbly white, giving the Classic Mimosa a modern Sipful twist – seriously good!
PEACH BELLINI
Our Peach Bellini was inspired by Em’s sister, Jennie, who after a long day of teaching, loved sipping on Bellinis in the hot Venetian sun – I mean, who wouldn’t! We’ve sourced 100% natural peach juice, harder than you’d think! And mixed it with our Spanish bubbles to give you our take on this mouth-watering cocktail.
ORGANIC BUBBLES
When searching for a bubbly wine to mix our signature cocktails, our requirements were naturally high. Organic, crisp, elegant, light-bodied and balanced – too much to ask?! We think not, after much searching, we eventually found this beautiful Arien white wine from the sun-filled plains of La Mancha in the heart of Spain. We think we’ve nailed it, so much so we’ve introduced it in a can all of its own!
WHY ORGANIC Wine?
At Sipful, we’re hippies at heart that quietly adhere to the responsibilities of modern life. In our personal lives and our business, we endeavour to do the right thing for our suppliers, our consumers and for the future health of our planet. Using Organic wine was a no brainer, Organic wines use significantly fewer pesticides and herbicides reducing the environmental and ecological impact made by viticulture in the wine-growing regions. Organic wine also prevents and limits the use of chemicals and additives in the wine itself, providing the customer with a natural and authentic product with no hidden nasties.
We are huge advocates for canned wine, but unfortunately, the general consensus expects canned wine to be of lesser quality. We want to change this and we believe that our Organic Bubbles has what it takes..
